Whether you’re happy balancing your laptop on an ironing board or not, remote working is here to stay for the foreseeable future.
To be honest, I’ve been doing it for many years and appreciate the benefits (although my laptop is on a desk). But because of Covid-19, we’re being asked to work this way more, and adapt and change to ensure that we continue to provide a great standard of work, wherever we work.
And this is the reason why I’ve launched my new Remote Marketing Manager service in Co. Waterford, Ireland.
Sometimes I would work from a client’s office to drive their marketing effort. Now though with the restrictions, they are happy to use my services remotely, and enjoying the benefits too.
I can work remotely on marketing strategies, a website, social media, design, advertising, content, PR, but because we’re not staring at each other across the desk, it doesn’t mean the client isn’t in the loop.
Video-calls have exploded recently and this is one weapon in my communication arsenal. I’m speaking with clients regularly via Zoom, Discord or Skype, and between that I use emails, a quick phone call or even WhatsApp.
So clients are keeping the marketing momentum going, to ensure their business is on track and doesn’t fall foul of the challenges with the recent pandemic.
With lockdowns, I’ve noticed companies too are using the time to their advantage, and evaluating their business, and adapting their products/services to ensure they stay viable.
And that’s where I’m helping. I can advise on new product/service suggestions, different revenue streams, ecommerce capabilities, and how to stay competitive.
It’s not easy at the moment – but with determination and the right skills and tools, we can all look to a more positive future. Take a read of the Remote Marketing Manager service for more info.
