When creating a new brand or rebrand, it’s worth spending time considering where it will actually appear. If not, your beautifully crafted logo may not in fact look any good on certain areas.
Take a fashion brand for example. No doubt you’ll need a great looking website, shop front and signage. But a main area of course is the tag on clothes. If the logo is too intricate – will it recreate OK?
So a good tip is to make a list of all areas. So when your designer receives the branding brief – they know all areas where it will appear – ensuring it looks professional every time.
